Mecca released a killer range for the Mecca Max holiday collections. They’ve got you covered from lipstick minis to glitters to brush sets, so Mecca Max has you sorted no matter what you’re looking for.
I’d been meaning to pick up one of the Illuminati Metallic eyeshadows since they were released because they look stunning and I want to see how they compare to the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish eyeshadows, so when the The Glow Show duos came out I knew I needed to get one.
There are three duos available. Pearl includes the illuminating powder in Pearl and illuminati shadow in Wait List, Gold consists of the illuminating powder in Gold and illuminati shadow in Spotlight and Bronze, which is the illuminating powder in bronze and illuminati shadow in Spotlight.
Did you guess that I picked up the Bronze duo? Because if you did then you’re right! I swatch Spotlight half the times I walk into Mecca so it was a no-brainer to buy the duo.
Spotlight has quickly become one of my fave lazy day all over the lid shades. It’s a light bronze shade and blends nicely onto the lid and as long as I don’t apply it too high, hooded lid problems, then I don’t have an issue with it creasing or transferring. I wear this for about eight hours when I have an afternoon shift and it lasts through work.
The Illuminating powder in Bronze is a very bronze highlight that is a little too dark for me for day to day wear but works well if I mix it with a more gold highlight or use a light hand. It’s pigmented, shimmery and wears for about eight hours on my skin.
The Mecca Max The Glow Show* duos are gorgeous and would make a perfect Christmas present. They retail for $35 and are limited edition so if you want to grab one now is the time to.
