2018 Goals

2018 Goals

Happy New Year lovelies! I brought in the new year celebrating with some of my faves. I spent new years day setting up my new theme and making my website all pretty and today I’m sitting down and writing down my 2018 goals.

Create a blog schedule and stick to it.

This year I’m determined to set a blog schedule. I still need to pick what days I want to post but starting next week you’ll be getting at least two days a week! I’m going to have a busy week of scheduling posts but it’ll be worth it!

Hit 6k on Instagram.

I’ve never been to too fussed on my numbers. It takes up too much time and energy and I’d rather put that towards creating great content for you guys. In saying that, having a small social media goal is never a bad thing so my goal this year is to, hopefully, get to 6k.

Comment more on Instagram photos and blog posts.

I spend so much time scrolling Instagram and reading blog posts but I don’t comment as much as I should. It’s a bad habit and something I want to get out of this year.

I spend a lot of time reading but over the last couple of years I haven’t read as much as I want. I’ve set my Goodreads challenge this year to 52. Between Sharni’s book club (you can join here)  and the Popsugar Reading Challenge I should easily be able to read that many books but we’ll see! I’ve linked the challenge here so you can follow my progress and join in if you want to take part as well.

Start doing book reviews and post of my bookstagram more frequently.

I created a separate Instagram for books because I wanted to mostly separate as it was created to be more fun and less stressful but I also want to be posting a lot more than I currently am. I also want to get in the habit of reviewing books, especially if I’ve really enjoyed them so others can read them too! You can follow me here!

What are some of your goals for 2018?

  • My goals are pretty simple, just getting better relationship with food and save up some money. But I really should start commenting on Instagram too! I love scrolling and seeing the photos, liking too, but for some reason, I’m never commenting.

  • I’d love to read reviews of the books you’ve read throughout the year. That’s how I usually find my next book to read by reading a review from a trusted source!
